Services for Schools
I work flexibly with schools to provide the psychological services they need, in a way that fits their context. Schools can commission my time for individual assessments or book a set number of days across the academic year.
I work closely with Special Educational Needs and Disability Coordinators (SENDCos), Head Teachers and other key staff to plan how to make the most of my input based on each school’s priorities.
My work can include:
Individual assessment and consultation
Group or whole-class interventions
Systems-level support and development
Staff training and professional supervision
Together, we can tailor a package that meets the unique needs of your setting and supports positive outcomes for children and young people.
TRAINING
Training allows EPs to support others in linking research and psychological theory with practice. I offer a range of informative, engaging and interactive training packages to school for in-service training days, or I can do shorter sessions to fit with after school meetings. I can also run ‘twilight’ sessions on request, which can be opened up to parents and carers. Please contact me with your requirements.
““A huge thank you for your coaching session today. It made a real difference to my mind set and the meeting (with parents) ended up being positive. I really appreciate it.”

SUPERVISION
I can offer supervision to members of staff at an individual or group level. Supervision is the process by which a trained professional helps another person to learn and develop professionally through engaging in a process of review and reflection on their work.
““I didn’t really understand how an EP could support us before. You always listen to us and make sure any actions are possible for staff and relevant to our students. I like it that you help us think about how to implement the actions you recommend and what they look like practically”
